My wife and I spent four days three nights at the Amish Lantern Motel. We are please with our experience. The new management, Peter and his wife are renovating this property and the effort shows. The accommodations are clean, breakfast plentiful and the location is perfect for attending the Millennium Theatre, Hershey Motel Smorgasbord and the Strasburg Rail Road. Not to mention the numerous private Amish farms welcome to visitors. Peter, his wife and the staff were eager to help us and meet our needs. We will return to and recommend the Amish Lantern motel. have never stayed there before but when i realized that the price was reasonable i decided to have a look, it was just excellent, everything was so clean and nice, it was also good location and easy to find! The staff was very friendly. The room was comfortable to stay

My family stays at this hotel every year and the owners are friendly and hospitable. We have had no problems here and would recommend it to anyone. It is fairly priced and everyone there is respectful and very helpful.

We recently spent the night at this location and was very impressed with the rooms and the friendliest of the staff. The rm. was very cleaned and presentable. would go back if in the areas again. Only suggestion is that the pool area needed cleaned but we didn't have time to enjoy any swimming, but if we had it would not been possible due to the pool being dirty... but like I said it was really not a problem. I work at a chain hotel and was very impressed and I told the gentleman that checked us out. Keep up the good work and good luck...

We found the rooms to be clean and comfortable. The hotel is located very close to a great many attractions and sites. The grounds were neatly landscaped and there were many flowers decorating the exterior of the hotel.
The staff were friendly and accommodating, very helpful in regards to points of interest to us.
We look forward to staying there again.

We never stayed there before. Always stayed at the bigger motels, but because of the price decided to try it. The motel is clean and quiet. Everything you need, even a coffee pot. Price is great and the owners are very nice and accommodating. We will be staying there again. Rich and Judy Leonhardt

Overall this motel was okay. The linens were clean and the room itself was clean. Not the most modern thing had cracks in the wall like something had been replaced and not fixed correctly-just cosmetic. Furnishings were nice. Did not have ice machine Close to nearby attractions. Staff was great. Had deposit in our water and it was yellow like from iron or something unsure. Overall would consider staying there again if the rates remain the lowest around. Oh and if you go in the winter the heat is GREAT! Very cozy and you adjust in your own room
